jenny macklin, a rather grandiosely titled, minister for families, asked by a journalist, whether she could live on the $35 dollars-a-day social services payment for job-seekers, replied that she could!

first off, i owe this site a tremendous debt of gratitude.

i have been an inactive witness for 4 glorious years, and the spark that began my fade out of the organziation was this site and paul's jwfacts.com.

it opened my eyes to a whole new world of insight, and i discovered that there were so many people out there like me - still a "spiritual" individual, but completely disgusted with the jw organization.

looking back now it is almost as if i became an atheist but still believed in my religion.

i know exactly what happened... he thinks i'm going to die at the big a and wants to be with someone he can live forever with.... we have two girls, ages 3 and 1... i really thought we'd make it despite the religion, now i really don't think so... not sure what to do... .

Do you think he wanted you to know that he was messaging this girl? It's cowardly but I've known JWs who have done this sort of thing in the hope that their partner will go out and give them grounds for a 'scriptural divorce'. Of course, if you think the marriage is over then divorce him and leave him in the no man's land of an 'unscriptural divorce'.

It seemed as though he came so close to seeing TTATT, what happened to draw him back in?

not sure how to approach this but here goes.....my wife discovered a porn site on the computer tonight.

yes, i was going to them, and i was foolish to think i could never get caught.

i have been visiting them for some years, not a daily problems, but occasionaly every month or so - still a problem wethere its once or a hundred times.

When I was a JW I was disgusted and angry when I found out my husband liked looking at pictures of beautiful women and had a couple of arguments about it. Poor git, it wasn't even porn, just an underwear catalogue. It was a wholly programmed response due to my skewed view of sex courtesy of the Watchtower. Can I take it your wife is a JW?
